Curtis Moore now 19 is widely known for his performance on X Factor 2009 where he stole the judges hearts and even though he was told by Simon Cowell on live TV 'to zip it' he still made it through to the Boot Camp stage of the show. Curtis felt that he was too young at 16 and decided he wanted time to develop himself as a person and an artist.
Curtis's first release was a cover version of an R Kelly track 'I Believe I Can Fly', which he was asked to record to support the Charity 'Sun & Happiness', which gives underprivileged kids and their family's an opportunity of a holiday of a lifetime. The charity is supported by donations from premier footballers / TV personalities and the general public. Part of the video was recorded at half time In front of 34,000 people at Villa Park in December 2011.
Curtis has still remained in the press and national papers due his link with Foster Care. Having been in care himself from a very early age, he has been interviewed by many national papers and has been filmed at home with his foster family for Channel 5 News.
Curtis says: ' 'Number One Girl' is a song about that special girl who just ticks all the boxes; the girl of your dreams! From a girls point of view it's everything a girl wants to hear. It's a song which relates to all.' Musically it's mixed with R&B flavour coupled with an element of reggae; topped off with a clever rap section by the very talented artist and M.O.B.O Winner of 2009, Victizzle.'
The single has already been Playlisted on Flava TV, Massive R&B, Kiss TV and is also starting to get support and interest from key radio stations around the country and club DJ's.
