Championed by the biggest DJ in the world, Tiesto, Fonzerelli “Dreamin' (Of A Hot Summers Night)” started as it meant to go on picking up huge momentum in Ibiza and the hottest clubs world wide from the coolest DJs in the world. Including Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz, K-Klass, Gabriel & Dresden, Matt Darey, Moto Blanco, WAWA, Marco V, Bobina, Jonathan Ulysses (Space) and more. Robbie Rivera called the record “Amazing!” and immediately insisted on remixing it to spin his own pumping Juicy Ibiza mixes to 8,000 people a week at his debut event at Privilege.
Building on this ground swell of support the record soon hit # 2 in the DMC Buzz Chart and # 6 Cool Cuts Chart following 3 weeks in both and is set to hit # 1 in the Music Week and DMC Club Charts week beginning 24th August. “Dreamin” soon caught the attention of some major radio specialists receiving multiple plays from Scott Mills, Steve Smart, Judge Jules, Dave Pearce, Nikki Elise, Big Al, Kutski & more and was immediately B-listed on Gaydar Radio, Ministry of Sound Radio, Music Choice and more.
Fonzerelli's guest mix which features “Dreamin” was then played on Kiss's coveted Mainroom Mix Session, Simon Dale's Kiss Monster Mix, Ministry of Sound Radio, Gaydar Radio, Agnelli & Nelson's Solaris International, Armada Sessions, Big Al Total Kiss show, Paul Hughes on Energy FM and across the world including San Francisco's #1 dance music show "HouseNation" on Movin99.7FM.
With the buzz around the record building further Jo Whiley chose “Dreamin” as one of her sound tracks of the summer featuring the track prominently in several soundbeds each day throughout the whole of August and following overwhelming feedback from listeners played the track in full on her daytime Radio 1 show.
The HD official music video for Dreamin' (Of A Hot Summers Night) was shot in the last week of July in Barcelona in 3 separate and stunning locations, around the city, on the beach and at one of the most exclusive and famous villas owned by a Polish industrialist. With a multinational cast and crew (Spanish, English, Danish, Russian and Swiss) all the action was shot in searing heat and the sexual chemistry between Sean (from Preston) and Lina (Russian but living in Barcelona since the age of 8) is evident throughout the video. Sean is on his first trip abroad and is busking the song in the streets where he meets this beautiful and exotic girl. They hit it off immediately and have an instant and electric relationship. Sean may have been dreaming while making this video particularly as on the final night when the whole crew went to the Opium lounge in Barcelona for the first night of the month long party season when they met Sean's football hero Ronaldinio who was partying at the next table. He no longer needed to dream it was hot and it was summer and it was extraordinary.
Fonzerelli aka Aaron McClelland based in Northern Ireland smashed onto the scene and quickly rose to prominence becoming one of the most established and hottest production talents in the world with his first release "Moonlight Party" in 2005 which became # 1 Download Of The Year on DJ Download and shot his own Mena Music label to # 1 Label Of The Year on DJ Download.
2008 saw Fonzerelli personally requested to play with Tiesto at his 10,000 capacity crowd at Privilege, Ibiza, the world's biggest club as well as his remixes of “Now Your Gone” and “All I Ever Wanted” being featured on Basshunter's # 1 Platinum selling UK album (# 8 for the whole year), the only artist to appear other than Basshunter himself! Prior to reaching the final 4 in American Idol, Fonzerelli teamed up with favourite to win Adam Lambert under their Digital Glitter guise and has been close to the singer since, helping him out with promotion. Aaron's rework of Adam Lambert − Kiss & Tell has already attracted 620,000 hits on 1 video on YouTube alone.
The 80's electronic dance revolution is the style on the tips of everyone's tongues at the moment and Fonzerelli has been pivotal over the past couple of years pioneering the sound before the buzz word was even a whisper. This could be the massive break this artist deserves and with a debut album waiting in the wings of electro infused vocal anthems you wouldn't dispute it. In a years time you could be the one saying you were on this first.
Aaron is nothing short of super prolific often making 2 or 3 original tracks in a day at his Northern Ireland studios for his own Mena Music label, Big In Ibiza and almost every major label in the world with hundreds of productions under his belt including mixes of several Top 5 acts.
Not content to just incorporate 80s instruments and sounds into his productions like many of his contemporaries Aaron actually plays all the instruments and prefers to use original real synths as opposed to computer emulations and is often found buying up racks of old second hand synths and Casio keyboards to get that unique and original feel and sound that his records are known for.
Spending half his time producing under his various aliases including Yer Man, Brazen (#1 Beatport) & Digital Glitter among others, Aaron spends the other half indulging in his hobby of buying and fixing up classic 70s cars including his current project a VW Campervan!
