CD released: 4th February 2008 Download available from: 28th January 2008
Released by: Positiva

In response to huge public demand 4th February, 2008 will see the full commercial single release of The Journey Continues (containing the music from the massively popular Lloyds TSB TV ad campaign) on Positiva Records now featuring a sublime vocal from St Etienne's Sarah Cracknell.

'The Journey Continues' is the brainchild of top dj/producer(one half of M.Y.N.C Project) and head of Cr2 Records Mark Brown who seized on the idea of remodelling the original piece of classical music ('Elizia Aria' by composer Elena Kats Chernin) and turning it into a classic dance track. Not surprisingly, 'The Journey Continues' has now been snapped up by leading dance label Positiva and is all set to be one of the biggest records of 2008.

Now complimented by Sarah Cracknall's deliciously haunting vocal 'The Journey Continues' is rapidly gaining widespread national radio support from amongst others Pete Tong and Jo Whiley at Radio 1.

Of 'The Journey Continues' DJ/Producer and Head of Cr2 Records Mark Brown said: “This is a dream come true to be allowed to reproduce and release this stunning piece of music. People all over the UK have connected with this piece of music, so to give it a full contemporary release is very special to me. I've tried to be as respectful as possible to the original music and now working with Positiva we're all hoping to make this a massive hit.”

St Etienne's Sarah Cracknell said of the collaboration: "Mark Brown played me the mix he'd done and I immediately thought I could add something to it. The melody and words came very easily and I was led by the wonderful atmosphere that the song evoked“

The Journey Continues is a unique piece of intelligent dance music that superbly enhances an already mesmerising piece of classical music. Now in 2008, freshly sparkling in full vocal glory, The Journey Continues is perfectly poised to become a classic in its own right.
